As is Condor’s Hope tradition, the 3-day weekend of Veteran’s Day is our community olive harvest. This year we had our most abundant crop ever. Folks worked hard as the came together, old friends and new. In total we harvest 9000 pounds producing 100 gallons of oil. While we worked continuously over the 3 days, we could not have completed it without the help of a professional crew of 5 who in 5 hours harvested just as much as a whole gaggle of us volunteers accomplished in 3 days! Each taste of our 2019 oil brings back wonderful memories of the harvest.
