A winter of rain brought an amazing and long awaited Superbloom to California. One of the amazing places to experience this was right in our own backyard. The Cuyama Valley, adjacent to the renown Carrizo Plain, was a glory of colors and flowers from the end of March through May. Please enjoy the photos below to capture a sense of the joy and beauty.
Winter rains filled the creeks and brought flowers to the hillsides. Shooting star was one of the first to appear. The hills were alive with yellow woolly sunflowers and gold fields. Fields of tidy tips appeared. Our April 1 Wine & Wildflower event bouquet explained by Steve. As we gather to feast and enjoy with the multi-generation cycle of life.
